Life Planner
part of my summer mission to get organized was to find a planner I could use daily and would work for me. Here it is my friends my Life Planner from Erin Condren!
Now my teacher planner has a sister and they are the tools I am using this school year to stay organized and on top of things that matter to me.
I had trouble picking a cover but I love this one! It list my favorite things! I have already penciled in some appts and important things!

Camp has
had us so busy! Quick update, I am mostly just teaching camp, running, and spending time with my kiddos. I am also getting my ideas together for my classroom and the up coming school year. Koey starts camp on Monday and we begins the count down to back to work and the ho hum of school year routines. This weekend I am going to the NKOTBSB concert in Hershey with some friends and hope to have a blast. I have to post a DIY I have been working on and also update AJ's homework station situation. Check back next week I PROMISE to do better!!!

What I did this week
This was the first week of camp for AJ and I. We will be there for the next 5 weeks and so far so good. I learned a few things while at camp.
- I love crafts!!!
- iPhones are great tools to help little children feel better when waiting for their Mommies.
- With a little planning and preparation you can work full time and keep a clean house.
So on to my done list:
- Clean, scrubbed and organized my lazy susan spice cabinet (exciting stuff I know)
- Baked a blueberry lemon cake from scratch
- ran 3 times
- cleaned and unclogged my bff (my dyson)
- I also finished my two new chalkboards!!!
Kev is heading out tonight and I plan to post a pic of said chalkboards and also hopefully a video of Ellie rocking out to Justin Beiber on her and Kohen's iPod. Sadly AJ won't allow the Beiber on hers!!!

Camp is hard work
I think I shared that starting this week I would be working at Norwood for six weeks. That my friends is the main reason I have been MIA. As you can tell from the picture below day campin' ain't easy! I need to post my what I did this week list and hope to get to it night but I can't promise. I am sure if anyone reads my blog they are surely bummed by this ;). I also plan to post some pics of our anniversary and 4th of July fun. Until then take a look at my princess peach and feel bad for how hard she must work to be knocked out at 5:11 in the afternoon. I mean Nuts about Numbers and Fairy Tale Theater must really take it out of you...

I'm in love!!!
My mission to get organized and a spic and span clean house is going so well and I owe it all to Jen! She's awesome! I heart her! She has such wonderful suggestions and ideas on how to get your house organized and clean. She helped me come up with a Guishard Family cleaning schedule that has really helped me a ton! We have gotten so many things cleaned and found new systems for so many things in our house it makes me giddy! (what can I say I am the mother of 3 who doesn't get out much!) Check out her etsy shop for your own cleaning list or other great items!

When does you baby girl
stop being your actually baby girl and become a big girl? In my case this will probably never happen, but today she got a bit closer. I couldn't help but think on all the growing she's done while we played a round of Go Fish.
It is bittersweet! I am so excited about all the fun things we get to share and do now that she's growing into her own little person but I am also sad that soon I'll blink and she'll be hating me as teen and soon after that she will be out on her own.

Don't forget to feed your worms?
Say what?! Yup that's what we're doing here at the Guishard household, hatching earthworms. Ava got this kit from a friend for her birthday.
Our earthworms finally arrived :D!

It is a pretty easy project to get these babies ready to hatch.

Crunch it all up so it gets nice and moist.
Dump it into the nursery tray and starting working with the earthworm cocoons.
Submerge your earthworms in room temp water for 30 minutes. While you wait take the little
squirt thingy (not technical term) and put 20 squirts into the larva pod. There should be enough to cover the earthworms with water.
After the 30 minutes are up your going to rinse the pods in warm water until they cocoons disappear.
Don't mind the mud in your sink you can always wash that later and then disinfect your sponge in the microwave.

Mission Impossible?
This summer is going to be really busy for me. Even though its summer vacation as of Tuesday I am really only going to be home and not working for like 3.5 weeks. Starting next Wednesday
I am watching one of Kohen's daycare friends for two weeks. July 5th- August 12 I am working at Norwood and then I go back to school August 22nd. My mission with the 3 weeks is to get us organized for the school year and beyond. First on my To Do list was to find a list notebook. I am list writer but get annoyed with the fact that I have to either rewrite the things I don't complete the next day or I lose it. I would love to be able to look back and see what I have accomplished on those days it seems like nothing will get done. I searched all over the internet posted on facebook and finally after a visit to borders I found it....

<----------------------- my new list notebook! Here I plan to keep track of my daily to do's and such. I wish it had a place for date and to do preprinted but beggars can't be choosers!

Do you Pinterest?
So my awesome friend Jenn, sent me an invite to Pinterest and I am IN LOVE!!! This website is perfect for me! It is a virtual pinboard where you can see other peoples ideas, DYI, baked goods, anything really. Ava's teacher gift I got from pinterest and these babies I found on pinterest too! I saw them and had to make them.

So because I work
sometimes people assume I can't be crafty or I don't have time to make things extra special for my kids or loved ones. Sometimes I hear something like "Oh that must be from a stay at home mom" and to be honest, it kind of pisses me off. Yes I work and yes I am not home with my kids as often as some moms but I still make things extra special for them and I can still be crafty when I want to be. Like for Ava kindergarten teacher, I made what I would say is a pretty crafty present. Yes it took a couple nights of staying up late but I LOVE it!

Ever wonder where the time goes?
I can't believe a month has already passed since I last posted! We had a great time in Bald Head and I am so grateful to have spent time with my Sarah. It is so hard to only see her a few years but I guess that is what happens when you meet your best friend in college and both of you are from different states. We hope to go camping with them this fall and also have them come up for a Redskins game (pending lockout being resolved) so I am holding on to that.
May has been spent at countless birthday parties and celebrations. Just in these 31 days we have 10 loved ones with birthdays! We just have my mother in law and grandma's birthdays left this month and the 10 parties we had to attend will be complete. My Ava turned 6 on the 4th and I can hardly believe I will soon have a first graders. She only had one request for her birthday and that was to get a hula hoop. Making her happy is super easy and for that I am thankful. Her birthday party was a a huge success. I was a bit concerned about having 22 girls running around a gym but thankfully the whole gaggle of kindergarten girls got along swell.
School has been great though knowing I only have 9 days left with my little guys puts the pressure on to get as much in as I can. For some reason every year goes by faster and this year I swear May just crept up on me. We still have Father's Day presents to make and predicates to learn about!
Say a prayer I get it all done and keep my sanity! Of course I get a ton of help on that from my sweet husband, awesome Mom and wonderful support system of friends-- actually heading to see my bestie today, Stace its been too long!!!
