Herbs?!

On tap for my to do list today was to start a potted herb garden with Ava and Kohen. I went to Lowes last night after bed and got some 10 inch terracotta pots, potting soil and 3 kinds of herbs. I also picked up some chalkboard paint and chalk ink. This morning Ava and I got started. I pretty much followed the tutorial from this website. First we taped off the tops of the pots and then we painted them with chalkboard paint. We then let them dry off on our tiny deck. I got each of the kids a large pot instead of doing several small ones. I am hoping to find some more herbs to add to Kohen's but we'll see. While they were drying Ava and I ran to Michaels and picked up some ribbon to tie around the top. When we got home the kids transferred there plants into our pots and called it a day. Anyway it was super easy and the kids love them! I do hope they live!
