Say what?! Yup that's what we're doing here at the Guishard household, hatching earthworms. Ava got this kit from a friend for her birthday.
Our earthworms finally arrived :D!

It is a pretty easy project to get these babies ready to hatch.

Crunch it all up so it gets nice and moist.
Dump it into the nursery tray and starting working with the earthworm cocoons.
Submerge your earthworms in room temp water for 30 minutes. While you wait take the little
squirt thingy (not technical term) and put 20 squirts into the larva pod. There should be enough to cover the earthworms with water.
After the 30 minutes are up your going to rinse the pods in warm water until they cocoons disappear.
Don't mind the mud in your sink you can always wash that later and then disinfect your sponge in the microwave.
