Cereal anyone?
So Kohen has been interested in food for a while now. I found him doing this last week and finally decided to get him some cereal. He had some rice cereal on Sunday and seemed to dig it. Today I had Kevin give him some sweet potatoes next I will try avocado. As much as I know he is ready to try stuff other than the boob I am not ready for the poop change.

My Husband Rocks
Two reasons my Kevin rocks this week, related though First I alway complain that he doesn't acknowledge our marriage online i.e. facebook, so this week he gave me a kiss on facebook :) made my day even though it is very high school. Then last night I came home from work at the gym and found a card from him on my night stand. It just said he loved me and was such a total surprise. So he rocks for making me feel special, still. What can I say its the little things for me...

Just Us
Stole this from Renee but I am wondering how to get it in my sidebar and while fitting in the whole fam. Any ideas?

In effort for full disclosure
Why oh why?
Does my son not sleep? I can't remember when kids go to two naps a day but gee I hope it happens soon here. Not only is Kohen an early riser (a huge adjustment for parents who love to sleep in) but now he has started waking up in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT wanting to play! Getting him to take naps longer thank 30-45 minutes is close to impossible unless I am sleeping with him which leave my house in disarray. I am hoping to start going to spin class on Thursday mornings at 6:00 am so I workout once before work and build in a 4th spin class a week but for that to happen I need to be well rested. Wonder if it will happen :(

My Husband ROCKS!!!!
What better day for these REDSKINS SEASON TICKETS to arrive? Needless to say for me this is the ultimate reason Kevin ROCKS. Its not that he buys stuff for me but that he has come to know me sooo well these past 11 years together to know that for a girl like me who grieved for Sean Taylor for weeks and who takes football so seriously there was no better gift. My husband of course also loves football and loves the Redskins but not like me so I know this sacrifice we made was more for me than for him. There is no way I can return the gift to this magnitude but I hope through my action I can show how grateful I am.

My weekend foe
Every weekend Kevin and I come up against the same enemy, laundry. I have come to the conclusion it will be a life long struggle with us always losing. I actually think if I ever had a maid I would want them to focus on laundry and cleaning my floors. This weekend we had more clothes and loads than normal. I am unsure if summer creates more laundry than winter I mean we have swimsuits, pool towels, linens, darks, whites, AJ's, Kohen's and a catch-all basket with place mats and odds and ends. Thankfully Gish helps me and loads them into the washer and dryer with my only role being to fold the mounds of clothes. Then he takes over again and puts them away. My hope is fall will have less laundry but then we will have school clothes and play clothes so I doubt it. Like I said a losing battle.
