Why oh why?

Does my son not sleep? I can't remember when kids go to two naps a day but gee I hope it happens soon here. Not only is Kohen an early riser (a huge adjustment for parents who love to sleep in) but now he has started waking up in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT wanting to play! Getting him to take naps longer thank 30-45 minutes is close to impossible unless I am sleeping with him which leave my house in disarray. I am hoping to start going to spin class on Thursday mornings at 6:00 am so I workout once before work and build in a 4th spin class a week but for that to happen I need to be well rested. Wonder if it will happen :(

It will! You just have to be consistant. If I have learned ANYTHING with my kids concerning sleep issues it's to just make sure your routine stays the same where naps and bedtime is concerned. I hate being on what I call house arrest during naptime for Cole but it honestly helps him sleep at night. I did it for Avery, too. I realized it's only for a short time anyway. Good luck - I know how important it is to feel some sort of normalcy after you've had a baby for a while :)

(((Grace))) It may just be a phase. Consistancy is key! Rowan is an early riser too, the rest of us our night owls. It's a tough adjustment. I hope Kohen starts sleeping better for you!

I think Luke and Kohen could be buddies. Luke rarely ever naps. He normally sleeps great at night, but didn't last night. I was ready to pull my hair out. He's asleep now, and has been for an hour....knock on wood.
