They're Cousins

We went to my cousins house for the week so AJ could go to VBS at her church. Our church doesn't start VBS until age 5 @@. It was also a chance to give Ava time to hangout with her cousins Jessica and Andrea. It gave me time to spend with my sissy, Ashley. Here are some pics of the kids over the week. I was finally able to catch this on video for Ava who has been working on it with Kohen for weeks! Of course he won't do it in front of her.

We have been trying Kohen's reflex for a couple days now and though he shows a lot of interest in food he is still a booby boy.

He sure does love to gum a spoon though.

Sick Kids

Summer colds just should not exist. Especially not for kids! I believe AJ got it at camp and gave it to Kohen and I. Needless to say we have been staying pretty close to home this week. Kind of made my workouts take a back burner. I believe that we are all on the mend now. Thank God because we are heading down to my cousins next week for VBS and some fun in at the sun. I am hoping we can go fishing and out on their boat. I would like to take advantage of their closeness to the water and have a mini-vaca. Since I am half-way through my summer vacation I have started putting together my to-do list for the rest of the summer and incorporating things I want to have ready for school, to save me some planning time. Anyway here are some pics from this week.

Shopping

We headed to the Leesburg Outlets with my MIL today and scored some good stuff! The kids have new pj's, Koey got a new friend, I got some things for Kohen's room, picked up 2 tanks at BR and headbands at J. Crew, Kev got some shorts and t-shirts and new place mats for the house. The kids were able to hang pretty well. Ava finally got on one of those ride things without freaking out. She got ice cream and spilled it all over her dress so we had to change her completely mid trip. Oh the way home both kids passed out and Kev got to painting.

4th of July

No fun outfits, no anniversary gifts, no fireworks just some baking at home, a cookout at my mom's and a tot who seems to be coming down with something. Well I guess thats just life with kids! Happy 5th Anniversary My Dear Gish!
