Ava Goes to School

This year my school offered a Pre-K program and I was so excited to sign Ava up. At first Kevin an I weren't sure if she was ready and would enjoy it but then school started and we knew we made the right decision. AJ LOVES going to Holy Redeemer. She is having so much fun and is blessed to have to wonderful teachers. She is going to school all day and gets home exhausted but definitely having learned something. Here are some pictures from her first day.

Long time no post

So whats been up with us in the last oh 3 or months? Lots! The main reason I am not blogging as much is because my lap top is missing a y and a b key so it makes typing a pain! I have tons of pictures to share and lots of family fun to talk about. I

am trying to get into the blogging mood but the copying and pasting of letters is gettign OLD. One guess what I want for Christmas...

For now I will tell you that my kids have been getting to know each other more and more and everyday they amaze me with the love they have for one another. Kohen is so affectionate with his big sister it is heart warming. Of course they bicker and fight over toys daily but in quiet moments they show their love and it makes me melt.

Here are some pictures from August and our vacation to Massanutten. We got to do so much fun stuff and squeezed in so much of Ava's to do list like fishing! Will post what we did in September soon!

The one where I tell you what we're up to

I haven't blogging much and I thought I would post some pics of why. Turns out that this might be the summer my darling Sass turns into a mermaid. AJ is LOVING the water and I take her to the pool almost daily thus the reason for the deep tans on my children. I would love for her to learn to swim this summer so next year I can actually go to the pool with 3 kids. So we have had playdates with friends that involve mostly hanging out poolside. Hopefully next week will have more of the same.

So I am going to do a quick post and edit it more once I return from NOT taking my husband to get a vasectomy. I really could NOT be more excited to have him do this. I am NOT totally against it. I am NOT a little resentful he would make a decision regarding this on his own. I have NOT tried in vain to change his mind for the last month or so. Alas I am NOT trying to be I good wife and respect his wishes.

I did NOT have my children change in the car after a visit to the pool instead of taking them to my in laws to shower. Since I certainly do NOT have a thing about showering in other peoples bathrooms. I did NOT take my son for his first hair cut this weekend. I was NOT sad when I saw a little man instead of my baby. Said child did NOT just fall and hit his head and so I do NOT have to end this post...

So I am finally ready to get back to logging and thought Not Me would e the est way. This week I did not let pig out on Buffalo chicken dip at a cookout because I didn't like anything else. I did not celebrate my 6 year anniversary. I did not make my son sleep in by pinning him down, making him lay in bed with me until he fell asleep again, instead of getting up when he did. I did not tell my daughter she was not allowed to watch TV so that I could watch WE TV. I do not make my kids watch the Golden Girls every afternoon with me. I did not ask my husband for a mop for my anniversary gift. I am not using a laptop without a b key and a y key because my kids tore them off. Oh and I am definitely not expecting our 3rd.
