Not me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

So I am going to do a quick post and edit it more once I return from NOT taking my husband to get a vasectomy. I really could NOT be more excited to have him do this. I am NOT totally against it. I am NOT a little resentful he would make a decision regarding this on his own. I have NOT tried in vain to change his mind for the last month or so. Alas I am NOT trying to be I good wife and respect his wishes.

I did NOT have my children change in the car after a visit to the pool instead of taking them to my in laws to shower. Since I certainly do NOT have a thing about showering in other peoples bathrooms. I did NOT take my son for his first hair cut this weekend. I was NOT sad when I saw a little man instead of my baby. Said child did NOT just fall and hit his head and so I do NOT have to end this post...

Not me Monday

So I am finally ready to get back to logging and thought Not Me would e the est way. This week I did not let pig out on Buffalo chicken dip at a cookout because I didn't like anything else. I did not celebrate my 6 year anniversary. I did not make my son sleep in by pinning him down, making him lay in bed with me until he fell asleep again, instead of getting up when he did. I did not tell my daughter she was not allowed to watch TV so that I could watch WE TV. I do not make my kids watch the Golden Girls every afternoon with me. I did not ask my husband for a mop for my anniversary gift. I am not using a laptop without a b key and a y key because my kids tore them off. Oh and I am definitely not expecting our 3rd.

A year of AJ

May 2008- She started the year flying high.

In June she was all to ready to head off to day camp and leave her Mama and baby bro behind.  I guess it was a sign of things to come.
July brought the responsibility of a library card and the thrill of tons of books.
In August she felt confident enough to be in the pool all by her lonesome.
In September she headed off to school without me.
October was when we were introduced to Little Miss Sass.
November was the first time I actually saw how long her hair was getting and how she no longer looked like a baby at all.
December came with lots of join and anticipation for the first time Christmas meant something.

Thankfully in January we learned she still was a little kids who enjoyed baths with her baby bro.
In Febraury she gave me this stunning smile and reminded me that she will always be my sweet girl.
In March my brown eyed girl went bowling for the first time.

She rounded out the year still flying high on Daddy's shoulders this time and with my heart in her smile.
I am not sure what FOUR will bring, but I do know with my sweet angel face its bound to be great and unforgettable.
